We are privileged to be involved in an area of research that is exciting, rapidly evolving, and globally relevant. The Symposium of the International Neurotrauma Society is a truly international meeting of minds at the forefront of research in brain and spinal cord injury, showcasing equally the basic and clinical sciences in a model of what the best translational research can be, from concussion to craniectomy, edema to electrocorticography, imaging to inflammation, metabolomics to microdialysis, and everything else inbetween. Plan your trip now!

Don't delay!  As Cape Town has been voted the Best Destination in Africa at the World Tourism Awards (2014) and February is the perfect time for you to visit, we suggest that you plan ahead and book your flights and accommodation as soon as possible!

Cape Town offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit every traveller's needs. From the most luxurious hotels to back-packers lodges, for the business traveller and family alike.  The INTS 2016 Organising Committee has negotiated special discounted rates at various hotels in close proximity of the CTICC.

Most international airlines arrive at the Oliver Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) in Johannesburg. A few international airlines fly directly to Cape Town International Airport, but otherwise Cape Town could easily be reached with a two hour domestic flight from Johannesburg's ORTIA.
