Newcombe Virginia

Virginia's research interests include using imaging as a biomarker for prognosis, the trajectory of traumatic brain injury and outcomes after critical illness. With projects based in the Emergency Department and Neurosciences Critical Care Unit her research encompasses the entire spectrum of TBI from mild to severe. Usually based in Cambridge, she divides her time between research and clinical training in intensive care and emergency medicine. She is currently enjoying spending a few months working clinically in the Intensive Care Unit at The Alfred, Melbourne, Australia.
